Interheart

Interheart - click to watch full show (2 minutes).

Interheart is an interactive music and light experience that incorporates one or two viewers’ heartbeats.

When viewers place their hands on the sensors, their heartbeats are detected and they launch a choreographed music and light show. The heartbeats drive different aspects of the light show. For example, at times, flames on each side of the sculpture pulse to that viewer’s heartbeat; at other times, the two heartbeats control pulsating orange and blue dots.

When the two viewers touch each other, they complete a circuit and cause sparks to fly.

This project was the first use case for my Glowcode framework for real-time interactive projects. More to come about this framework.
