Mandala (Sun 114)

Mandala (Sun 114) illuminated wall sculpture

Mandala (Sun 114) is a 30-inch illuminated wall sculpture inspired by the symmetry and repetition of mandalas. Traditionally used as focal points for meditation, mandalas center attention through pattern and balance.

This piece reinterprets that idea using modern materials and tools: laser-cut plywood, 114 individually lit 3D-printed tetrahedra, and a PixelBlaze controller driving evolving patterns of light and color.
