TV Lift Cabinet
TV lift cabinet in action
I designed this TV Lift Cabinet for a 65” TV to hide my TV when not watching it - reducing the amount it blocks the view.
The main innovation is a moving cover for larger TVs, which enables eye-level viewing height. Traditional TV lift cabinets make the TV too high for large TVs, since the TV must clear the cabinet when fully extended. By lowering a cover, the TV can be fully visible without fully extending the lift.
Made of baltic birch plywood, finished with clear polyurethane, and designed a 3D printed pulley mechanism. Design files are available here.
